Why my dog’s nail bleeds after the nail cut?
It is normal for dogs nails bleed sometimes after nail clipping. The nail of a dog has a blood supply and a nerve Inside of it; this is sometimes referred to as the "Kwlk"“Quik”. The Kwlk can grow as far as the nails grow, therefore, when you cut the nails, the Kwlk will get cut and causes bleeding. After cutting the nails, the grown Kwlk will go back to where it should be. This process is not painful and the bleeding stops in few minutes or you can use bleed stoppers to stop it immediately. Don’t be concerned when seeing the blood on your dogs nails. As your dog ages, the bleeding of their nails is more likely to happen as dogs are less active during older age.
