We highly recommend that you groom your dog in a regular basis of every 7 to 8 weeks to avoid matting. As a dog owner, it is your responsibility to brush, wash and groom your dog.

If your pet is matted, under the matted areas, your dogs skin will stay moist and won’t dry until the matting has been removed. When the skin stays moist for a long period of time, it causes redness, itching and blister which cannot be seen until the matting has been removed. To remove matting, we must use sharp blades close to the skin to remove them. This process can cause skin irritation, laceration, cuts and bleeding combined with already irritated skin due to matting.

When you book a groom for a matted dog with us, you have given us your consent to go ahead with removal of matting and Tiny Tails bears no responsibility for any injury caused due to removal of matting. Tiny Tails does not cover any veterinary cost during or after lodgement of pets and will not refund your grooming cost. This process is costly and can take up to 2.5 hours. Please consider these facts prior to booking your dog with us. Thank you
